Capture One has never sponsored the Phoblographer at all instead I say all of this due to my own experiences, frustrations and for what I’ve implemented as a standard amongst our staffers.
#ADOBE LIGHTROOM CLASSIC PRESETS PRO#
At the same time, realizing that this isn’t going to help you get images out faster and it won’t give you much of what Capture One Pro has been delivering for years now. Despite the fact that the Phoblographer partially came up on social media, I’ve never been one to want to willingly engage in toxic discourse and to instead look for solutions. To that end, if you don’t have a business and you’d just like to spend more time on forums, Facebook groups and your most private Instagram pods complaining about it amongst yourself, then please do. But I’m going to stand very strongly by my next statement: I think that any photographer that continues to use Adobe Lightroom Classic CC 8 on the regular is seriously doing themselves a massive injustice and genuinely doesn’t care about the livelihood of their own business–and that goes for whether you’re a professional photographer, influencer, or a blogger/journalist like I am. I’m going to begin this review by stating that during my review period for Adobe Lightroom Classic CC 8, I gave the program every single advantage that it could truly have. Let’s take a look at how they can simplify your photo editing. Version 6.0 of Lightroom for desktop has added some key AI features. I wonder at what point the two will begin to overlap in terms of editing capabilities. Adobe keeps adding more features to Lightroom desktop to almost match up to Classic. If you don’t mind managing your photos by yourself, you just might prefer using this version over the Classic edition.
#ADOBE LIGHTROOM CLASSIC PRESETS TRIAL#
The Big PictureĪdobe Lightroom requires an Adobe plan to work after the 7 day trial period.

Adobe Lightroom (Desktop) doesn’t seem to use as much, and that’s a boon for photographers who want to edit quickly without RAM limitations slowing down their workflow. Right click one of the panel headers on the left, and choose Presets from the context menu.

One for highlights, one for mid-tones, and one for shadows with different values of grain for each. So to make the process more convenient for myself and others, I’ve created a set of 3 Lightroom presets that will add the 3 masks. It still took up a crazy amount of RAM on my M1 Macbook Air during the edit process. Adding 3 masks to every photo you want to have a bit of grain will become annoying fast. This forced me to edit some images using Lightroom Classic 12.1. Capture One wasn’t able to blend HDR jpeg images when I wanted to last month. Despite photographers complaining for nearly five years about how much RAM it uses, nothing’s changed.
